Coffee Oil is a rich, aromatic oil obtained from coffee beans. Two main types are used: green coffee bean oil, cold pressed from unroasted beans and valued in skin care, and roasted coffee oil, which carries the deep, warm aroma of freshly roasted coffee and is used in flavours, fragrances and cosmetics. Coffee CO2 extract and coffee absolute are also used in perfumery.
Arizone International supplies Coffee Oil in green and roasted forms for cosmetic manufacturers, flavour houses, fragrance companies and private label brands.
Coffee in India
India is one of the world's significant coffee producers, and most Indian coffee is grown under shade in the hills of Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Karnataka alone, especially Chikmagalur and Kodagu (Coorg), produces most of the country's coffee. India grows both Arabica and Robusta and is known for speciality coffees like Monsooned Malabar. Coffee was first planted in India in the 17th century in the Baba Budan Giri hills of Karnataka.
