Dried Noni Fruit is made from the knobbly, pale green-to-white fruit of Morinda citrifolia, a small tree of the coffee family that grows in tropical coastal regions. Noni has a strong, pungent smell when ripe, and it is best known as the raw material for noni juice, powders and capsules.

Arizone International supplies Dried Noni Fruit to herbal, Ayurvedic, food and nutraceutical manufacturers, traders, private label brands and bulk buyers. Grade, cut size, cleaning level, packaging and quantity can all be set to your specification.

What Is

Morinda citrifolia, also called Indian mulberry, grows along the coasts of India, South-East Asia and the Pacific islands. In India it grows mainly in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, where it is also known as Nuna or Aal. The fruits are harvested, sliced and dried to create a stable raw material that can be stored and shipped easily.

Noni fruit contains polysaccharides, scopoletin, iridoids and anthraquinones, as well as vitamin C and potassium. It has a long history in Polynesian traditional practice and has become a popular wellness ingredient worldwide.

After harvest, the material is dried in the sun or shade, then cleaned to remove stones, dust, stems and other foreign matter, and sorted by size and quality. It can be supplied whole, cut into smaller pieces for tea and extraction, or milled into coarse or fine powder. For food and ready-to-use products, steam sterilisation can be arranged to bring microbial counts within export limits.
