Eucalyptus Leaf Extract
Part of our Herbal Extracts range, manufactured and exported by Arizone International LLP.
Eucalyptus Leaf Extract is a concentrated powder or liquid extract made from the leaves of eucalyptus trees, mainly Eucalyptus globulus. Unlike eucalyptus essential oil, which is steam distilled and captures only the volatile aroma compounds, the leaf extract also contains non-volatile polyphenols and flavonoids. It is used in cosmetics, oral care, respiratory wellness products and supplements.
Arizone International supplies Eucalyptus Leaf Extract to cosmetic manufacturers, oral care brands, supplement makers and private label businesses.
About Eucalyptus
Eucalyptus trees are native to Australia, where koalas feed on their leaves. They are now grown in many warm countries, and India has large plantations in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala and other states, mostly for pulp and timber. The Nilgiris has been known for eucalyptus leaf distillation for more than a century. Eucalyptus globulus, the blue gum, is the species most used for medicinal and cosmetic products.

Tips for Buyers and Formulators
Eucalyptus leaf extract is different from eucalyptus essential oil: the extract carries polyphenols and flavonoids, while the oil carries cineole. Tell us which one your formula needs.
For oral care and cosmetics, ask for an extract made with a solvent that suits your label, such as water or glycerine, and check the microbiology results before use.
