Arizone International supplies Rose Petals Powder and dried rose petals for cosmetic and skincare brands, tea blenders, sweet and food manufacturers, Ayurvedic companies, wholesalers and exporters.
India's Rose Traditions
Roses have a special place in Indian culture. Kannauj in Uttar Pradesh, often called the perfume capital of India, has distilled rose attar and rose water for centuries. Pushkar near Ajmer in Rajasthan is famous for its fragrant roses, used to make gulkand (a sweet rose petal preserve), rose water and offerings at temples and dargahs. Globally, Bulgaria's Rose Valley and Turkey's Isparta region are famous for Damask rose oil.
For powder, petals are picked early in the morning, when their fragrance is strongest, shade-dried to keep their colour, and milled.
What Rose Petals Contain
