Hemp Seed Oil is a green, nutty-tasting oil cold-pressed from the seeds of industrial hemp, Cannabis sativa. It is prized for its balanced ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 fatty acids and is used in natural skincare, hair care and nutrition products.
Arizone International supplies Hemp Seed Oil for cosmetic brands, food and supplement companies, wholesalers and private label businesses, subject to the regulations of each destination market.
Hemp Seed Oil Is Not CBD Oil
This is the most common point of confusion. Hemp Seed Oil is pressed only from the seeds, which naturally contain little or no THC or CBD. It does not produce a "high" and is used like other nutritional and cosmetic oils. CBD oil, in contrast, is extracted from the flowers and leaves of the plant and is regulated very differently. Our Hemp Seed Oil is a seed oil, and it is tested to confirm that THC stays within applicable limits.
Hemp in India
Hemp (bhang) has grown wild in the Himalayan foothills for centuries, and hemp fibre was used for ropes and cloth in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. In 2021, FSSAI notified hemp seed, hemp seed oil and hemp seed flour as permitted foods, with limits on THC and CBD content. Some states, such as Uttarakhand, have also allowed licensed cultivation of industrial hemp. Rules for hemp products differ widely around the world, so the destination market's requirements must be checked before export.
