Pure Shilajit Resin is a purified form of shilajit, a sticky, dark brown to black substance that seeps from rocks in high mountain ranges such as the Himalayas. Shilajit is one of the most famous rasayanas in Ayurveda, and purified resin is used in capsules, drops and traditional preparations.

Arizone International supplies Pure Shilajit Resin to herbal, Ayurvedic, food and nutraceutical manufacturers, traders, private label brands and bulk buyers. Grade, cut size, cleaning level, packaging and quantity can all be set to your specification.

What Is

Shilajit forms over centuries from plant matter that has been broken down and pressed between layers of rock. In warm months it slowly oozes out of cracks in the rocks at high altitude, where it is collected by hand. Raw shilajit contains stones, sand and other impurities, so it must be purified before use.

Purification involves dissolving the raw material in water, filtering it and slowly drying it into a glossy resin. Shilajit is rich in fulvic acid, humic substances and minerals, and fulvic acid content is the main quality marker.

After harvest, the material is dried in the sun or shade, then cleaned to remove stones, dust, stems and other foreign matter, and sorted by size and quality. It can be supplied whole, cut into smaller pieces for tea and extraction, or milled into coarse or fine powder. For food and ready-to-use products, steam sterilisation can be arranged to bring microbial counts within export limits.

Tips for Buyers and Formulators

Always ask for heavy metal results on every batch, as shilajit quality and safety vary widely between sources.
