Brahmi Powder is the dried, ground whole herb of Bacopa monnieri, a creeping wetland plant used in Ayurveda for centuries. It naturally contains bacosides, the compounds used to measure Bacopa quality.
Arizone International processes and exports Brahmi Powder in bulk for supplement, Ayurvedic and hair care manufacturers, with a certificate of analysis for every batch.
About Brahmi
Bacopa monnieri grows in damp, marshy ground across India. The name Brahmi is sometimes also used for gotu kola (Centella asiatica), a different plant, so the botanical name should always be stated on the specification.
How Brahmi Powder Is Made
The aerial parts are harvested, washed, dried and milled to the required mesh. Because Bacopa grows in wet soils, it can take up metals from its environment, which makes heavy metal testing especially important.
