Apple Cider Vinegar Powder
Part of our Herbs range, manufactured and exported by Arizone International LLP.
Apple Cider Vinegar Powder is a dry, free-flowing form of apple cider vinegar made by drying liquid vinegar onto a food-grade carrier. It keeps the tangy, fruity sourness of vinegar in a stable powder that is easy to store, transport and add to capsules, gummies, drink mixes and seasonings.
Arizone International supplies Apple Cider Vinegar Powder for supplement manufacturers, snack and seasoning companies, beverage brands, wholesalers and exporters, with acidity levels set to your specification.
How ACV Powder Is Made
Apple cider vinegar is made by fermenting apple juice twice. First, yeast turns the sugars into alcohol to make cider. Then acetic acid bacteria convert the alcohol into acetic acid, which gives vinegar its sharp taste. To make powder, the liquid vinegar is mixed with a carrier such as maltodextrin, gum arabic or tapioca-based carriers, and spray-dried or otherwise dried into fine particles. The result is a pale beige powder that smells and tastes like vinegar but is dry and easy to handle.
ACV powder is usually specified by its acetic acid content, commonly around 5% to 10%, depending on the carrier and process. Powders made from unfiltered vinegar are often marketed as "with the mother".

Handling Tips
ACV powder is hygroscopic, meaning it absorbs moisture from the air and can cake. It should be kept in sealed, moisture-proof packaging and handled in low-humidity conditions. Adding a flow agent can help in some applications.
Quality Parameters
- Acetic acid content (acidity)
- Carrier type and ratio
- Moisture and water activity
- Flowability, colour and odour
- Microbiology and heavy metals
- Allergen and GMO status of carrier where required
Safety Notes
ACV products should be consumed as directed. Concentrated vinegar can irritate the throat and stomach, and people on diuretics, insulin or potassium-lowering medicines should consult a doctor before using ACV supplements.
We can also blend ACV powder with ginger, cinnamon or cayenne on request.
Tips for Buyers and Formulators
Ask for the acetic acid content on the COA, as it varies between suppliers. The powder absorbs moisture, so pack it with a desiccant.
