Liposomal Ashwagandha Capsules bring together one of India's best-known Ayurvedic herbs and a modern delivery system. Ashwagandha is a leading ingredient in stress, sleep and vitality ranges around the world, and a liposomal format gives brands a premium product in a crowded category.
Arizone International manufactures Liposomal Ashwagandha Capsules in India for private label, contract manufacturing, wholesale and bulk buyers. You choose the strength, the phospholipid source, the capsule type and the pack, and we take care of production, testing, packing and export documents.
Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) is a small shrub whose root has been used in Ayurveda for thousands of years. It is classed as an adaptogen, a plant traditionally used to help the body cope with stress. The root contains withanolides, the compounds most often used to standardise ashwagandha extract.
Root extracts are usually standardised to between 2.5% and 5% withanolides. India is the main source of ashwagandha root, which supports a strong origin story for this product.
In a liposomal product, the nutrient is wrapped in tiny spheres made from phospholipids, usually taken from sunflower or soy lecithin. These spheres, called liposomes, are built from the same kind of material as cell membranes. The idea is to protect the nutrient on its way through the digestive tract and to support its uptake. For capsules, the liposomal material is dried into a free-flowing powder, so a capsule holds less of the active nutrient than a plain powder capsule of the same size, and a serving is often two capsules.
Research on oral liposomal supplements is still growing, so avoid unsupported claims such as fixed absorption multiples, and keep label wording within the rules of the market where the product is sold.
The serving size should follow the finished product label. Ashwagandha is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and people with thyroid conditions, autoimmune conditions or those taking sedatives or other medication should consult a healthcare professional first. Rare cases of liver problems have been reported, and some countries restrict ashwagandha, so check your target market.
Every batch is supplied with a certificate of analysis. Typical checks include withanolides assay by HPLC, phospholipid content, liposome particle size, loss on drying, heavy metals, microbiology, and capsule weight variation and disintegration.
Ask for root-only extract and for the withanolide content and test method on the certificate of analysis, as UV methods give higher figures than HPLC.
State the extract amount and withanolide content per serving on the label.
