Liposomal Alpha Lipoic Acid Capsules combine a versatile antioxidant with a phospholipid delivery system. Alpha lipoic acid (ALA) is soluble in both water and fat, and it is popular in antioxidant, nerve wellness and blood sugar support ranges.
Arizone International manufactures Liposomal Alpha Lipoic Acid Capsules in India for private label, contract manufacturing, wholesale and bulk buyers. You choose the strength, the phospholipid source, the capsule type and the pack, and we take care of production, testing, packing and export documents.
Alpha lipoic acid is a sulphur-containing compound made in small amounts by the body, where it helps enzymes turn food into energy. It is also found in foods such as spinach, broccoli and organ meats, but only in small amounts.
Supplements use either racemic ALA, a 50:50 mix of the R and S forms, or R-lipoic acid, the natural form. R-ALA is premium but less stable, so a protective format such as liposomes suits it well.
In a liposomal product, the nutrient is wrapped in tiny spheres made from phospholipids, usually taken from sunflower or soy lecithin. These spheres, called liposomes, are built from the same kind of material as cell membranes. The idea is to protect the nutrient on its way through the digestive tract and to support its uptake. For capsules, the liposomal material is dried into a free-flowing powder, so a capsule holds less of the active nutrient than a plain powder capsule of the same size, and a serving is often two capsules.
Research on oral liposomal supplements is still growing, so avoid unsupported claims such as fixed absorption multiples, and keep label wording within the rules of the market where the product is sold.
The serving size should follow the finished product label. ALA can lower blood sugar, so people taking diabetes medicines should consult their doctor, and labels should advise pregnant or breastfeeding women and people with thyroid conditions to seek medical advice. Some people notice mild stomach upset.
Every batch is supplied with a certificate of analysis. Typical checks include alpha lipoic acid assay by HPLC, phospholipid content, liposome particle size, loss on drying, heavy metals, microbiology, and capsule weight variation and disintegration.
State whether the product uses racemic ALA or R-ALA, and ask for the content of each on the certificate of analysis.
ALA has a sulphur smell and R-ALA can break down with heat, so use sealed bottles and store them cool.
